1. The service

[COMPANY LEGAL NAME] ("we") provides SmoothRoster, online employee scheduling software ("the Service"), to businesses ("Customers") and the people they invite ("Users").

2. Accounts

You must give accurate information and keep your password secure. The person who creates a business account is responsible for activity under it and for having authority to bind the business.

3. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through our payment processor. Free trials convert only when you choose a plan. You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the paid period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

4. Customer data

You own the data you put into the Service. You grant us permission to host and process it only to provide the Service. You are responsible for having the right to enter your employees' information.

5. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the Service, attempt to access other customers' data, or use it to break the law.

6. Availability

We aim for high availability but the Service is provided "as is" without warranties. [ADD SLA IF OFFERED.]

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including payroll errors.

8. Termination

You may delete your account anytime from Settings. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or are unpaid.

9. Governing law
